Truth in Lending Act (TILA)
In accordance with the Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and Regulation Z, LoanTree LLC provides all required disclosures to borrowers, including the Annual Percentage Rate (APR), finance charge, amount financed, and total of payments. These disclosures are provided to help you understand the true cost of credit and to compare loan offers from different lenders.
Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA)
In compliance with the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) and Regulation X, LoanTree LLC provides borrowers with:
- A Loan Estimate within three business days of receiving a completed loan application
- A Closing Disclosure at least three business days before closing
- A Servicing Disclosure Statement indicating whether loan servicing may be transferred
- An Affiliated Business Arrangement Disclosure, if applicable
LoanTree LLC does not pay or receive referral fees (kickbacks) that violate RESPA.
